Meet Doctor Walker

I am a native of Morehead City and a graduate of West Carteret High School. I completed my undergraduate, dental and orthodontics training at UNC-Chapel Hill, earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Masters, and Certificate of clinical training. Over the past several years, I have had the honor of lecturing both nationally and internationally, publishing numerous research articles, and serving as a fellow with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Washington, DC. I have continued to publish while in private practice and was recently awarded the Publication of the Year Award from one of the most prestigious orthodontic journals.

I believe in utilizing the most cutting-edge technology, including Speed Braces, Damon Braces, Invisalign, and Invisalign Teen, to provide our patients the beautiful smiles they deserve. It’s also important to me that our patients have FUN while in our office!

In my personal life, I am an active Rotarian and member of the First Methodist Church in Morehead City, and, as an Eagle Scout, I enjoy volunteering with our local Scouts. My wife, Leeanne, and I enjoy running, hiking, surfing, boating, and playing with our dog, Ellie!
